Child-led is best! It is not a regular day if I'm not crawling through tunnels, playing the Floor is Lava, or riding a scooter down a hallway. Kids are so much fun and play is how they communicate and connect. While therapy can feel daunting, it is my goal to make each session tailored to your child's specific needs and interests in a playful and skill-based manner. Assessing your child's individual needs, strengths, and current level of functioning along with learning about your goals for your child will help me to develop a comprehensive plan to help your child gain increased independence in a variety of activities. Additionally, gaining deeper insight into your child's sensory processing skills will help me to determine what skills may be optimized for increased success in meaningful activities. Parent involvement is KEY to helping your child gain success -- after all, you know your child best! I look forward to being on your team and helping you and your family to achieve positive therapy outcomes.
