What is OT?

Occupational therapy (OT) can help children to become more independent and effective at carrying out various daily living tasks! There are so many activities that we ask our kids to participate in from as simple as being able to get dressed to improving their emotional regulation skills to tackle a challenging motor task without leading to a meltdown.

Therapeutic interventions can help your child to gain improved strength, fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing skills, coordination, executive functioning skills, and self-regulation skills to name a few. Helping your child to become more confident and to function independently in a variety of activities that matter not only to you, but also to them is the ultimate goal!
