About Me

Hi There! So nice to meet you!

I am a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and am extremely passionate about helping kids and families reach and exceed personally meaningful goals! I graduated from East Carolina University where I received both my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. I have a LOVE for learning and continue to take courses regularly in order to provide research-based, best practices. I strongly believe that providing occupational therapy that is child-led, play-based, and specifically tailored to meet the needs of your family can make positive growth and lasting changes possible.

I have experience in evaluating and providing treatment for a variety of children ages 6 months – adolescence with different needs (see below). My love for this profession lies in watching your child gain confidence and comfortability in their own skin through the provision of sensory integration-focused therapy. Through understanding the underlying causes of your child’s sensory processing needs, I can develop a comprehensive treatment plan specifically for your family to facilitate positive growth and long-lasting change.

In addition to extensive training in Sensory Integration therapy, I am also trained in the following therapeutic interventions and modalities including, but not limited to: DIR/Floortime, Clinical Reasoning and Sensory Diets, Primitive Reflex Integration, Treating Sensory Modulation Disorders: STEP-SI, Wilbarger Therapressure Program, Handwriting Without Tears, Anxious Eaters, Anxious Mealtimes Approach to Feeding and Eating, SOS, and Conscious Discipline. I am also a certified provider of the Safe and Sound Protocol for improved self-regulation and resilience in kids, Therapeutic Listening, and ILS-Focus/Calming programs as well.

In my free time, you can find me spending time with my family, hiking, camping, reading, cooking, and checking out local restaurants and cafes -- major foodie over here!

I am so looking forward to getting to know your family and having the opportunity to work on reaching goals that are important to you.
